During 2010 Stenhouse Loch came under new management. Since then we have strived to improve the fishery and its amenities in the hope that it will become one of the preferred fishing venues in Scotland. Although it is a small water, it has proven to provide exciting sport for all.

Stenhouse Loch is located on the A909 next to Dunearn Farm to the north of Burntisland. This 35 acre loch was, for a period of 90 years, part of the Fife water supply system until it was decommissioned in the 1990's. Stenhouse is regarded as a small fly water however, regardless of size, it has the ability to provide excellent fishing. The loch is regularly stocked with Rainbow and other species of trout having an average weight of around 2.0 lb. Fishing is by fly only from both bank and boat. The loch is generally open all year, 7 days a week, from 9am to Dusk. Weather conditions permitting.

We cater for clubs and can offer casting tuition for those who are new to the sport. We had a very good 2010 season with the 2011 season indicating it will be even better despite the weather conditions.
